Annie Ledbetter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. on Dec. 8, 2025.
Annie Belle Ledbetter, 73 of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Alexander Chapel United Methodist Church, 609 M.L.K. Jr. Drive, Cartersville, Georgia 30121. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement.

Annie Belle Davis-Griffin-Ledbetter was born July 29th, 1952, to the late Joe C. Davis and Lois Middlebrook-Davis. She was one of ten children of this blessed union. On Sunday, December 7th, 2025, Annie Belle was called from her earthly home to her eternal home.

"It pains me to admit it, but apparently, I have passed away. I was born; I blinked; and it was over. For those of you that knew me you knew about me, for those of you who didn't, well, it's too late now. I was a private person in life, and I see no reason to change tradition. Please don't cry because I'm gone, instead be happy that I was here (or maybe cry a little bit; after all I have passed away)."

Annie Belle was preceded in death by her siblings: Victoria Williams, Thelma Gay, Robert Lee Davis, Juanita Davis-Philpot, and Jo-Ann Griffin; brother in-laws Reuben Gay and Walter Griffin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children: Patrick Griffin (Trina), Tasha Richardson (Dennis), and Cedric Griffin; and her grandchildren: Shayla Smith, Shamar Griffin, J'ace Griffin, and Kaliyah (Queenie) Queen.

Annie Belle is survived by her siblings George Davis, Mary Lou Davis, Marvin Davis, Charlie Davis (Patricia), and a special sister in-law Priscilla Davis and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.
