Mrs. Annie Pearl Pearson, 88, of Youngstown, Ohio, transitioned from this earthly labor to her heavenly reward on Tuesay, January 27, 2026 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

Mrs. Pearson was born January 1, 1938 in Kellyton, Alabama, a daughter of Posie Goggans and Jessie Whetstone. She was a graduate of J. D. Thompson High School in Alabama. Annie was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, its choir and Bible Study. She was a self-employed domestic technician. Annie loved to crochet, all music, and her passion was caring for her family. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, house plants and gardening. She was an avid fan of the Young and the Restless, the Bold and the Beautiful, Candy Crush, Woodoku, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James.

She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life and legacy, four children, Kem Pearson of Washington, DC, Valerie (Willie) Gaddis of Woodbridge, VA, Annette Pearson of Macedonia, OH, and Beverly Evans of Campbell, OH; six grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie H., whom she married October 14, 1963 and who passed away March 19, 2019; a sister, Mary Lois Whetstone; and three brothers, Posie Goggans Jr., J. C. Jackson and Donald Goggans.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 707 Tabernacle Blvd. (formerly Arlington Street), Youngstown, OH. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Ministry of Comfort, love and dignity entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
