Annie Sydelle Schaefer

Annie Sydelle Schaefer, 96, of Victoria, Texas went to her heavenly home March 2, 2025. She was born January 16, 1929 in Fayette County to the late Carl August Domaschk and Minnie Leunda Charpentier.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 US. Hwy. 87 N. in Victoria, Texas. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Grace Memorial Chapel in Victoria, Texas with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Honoring Annie as pallbearers will be Shan Schaefer, Chad Schaefer, Charlie Schaefer, Caylon Schaefer, Jonathan Willemin, Westin Martin, and Sabastian Kucera.
Annie married her love, Lawrence Gus Schaefer, on April 22, 1968 in Goliad, Texas. She was a dedicated staff member who served VISD for 20 years. Annie loved baking and cooking for family and entertaining. She also enjoyed drinking coffee while watching her soaps, fishing, reading her bible and traveling with family. She also loved winning at dominoes. Annie will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence Gus Schaefer; sisters, Bernice Bagwell, Ruth Carter; dear friend, Mildred Lee.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sophie Elaine Stock (Robert) of Southerland Springs, Texas, Debra Ann Willemin (David) of Victoria, Texas, Sandra Leona Fontana (Benny) of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Kenneth Ray Schaefer (Rene) of Nursery, Texas, Colonel Schaefer (Wanda) of Victoria, Texas, Charles Allen Schaefer (Sherlyn) of Austwell, Texas, Paul Terry Schaefer (Peggy) of Rockport, Texas; siblings, Carl Melvin Domaschk, Alfred Eugene Domaschk, Leon Domaschk, Archie Domaschk, Linda Rutherford; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; along with numerous other family members and friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Twin Pines North, Hospice of South Texas and her caregiver, Karen Berlin.
