Annita Pulice Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Annita Giusta Pulice, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 93.
Born on March 4, 1932, in Amantea, Italy, Annita immigrated to New York City in 1966 with her late husband, Benito Giuseppe Pulice, and their children. The family settled in Little Italy, where Annita spent nearly 30 years preparing authentic Italian dishes for the priests, cardinals, and archbishops of New York City at the rectory of the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral.
Annita is survived by her four children-Marie, Antonia, Gregory, and Fran-along with her son-in-law Vincent, whom she loved and cherished as her own son, and her daughter-in-law Marianne, Gregory's wife, who held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to family, her faith, and the warmth she brought to everyone through her cooking and generous heart.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
