Anthony F. Abeyta Jr., 49, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday 10/01/2025 in Albuquerque at home.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, 10/18/2025, at 7:00pm. At the Sidekick Lounge in Ignacio, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. Updates will follow.
Anthony was born in Los Alamos, NM to Anthony F. Abeyta Sr. and Gaylene Garcia on July 12, 1976. He went to school in Farmington. He married Lorie Quintana January 2014 in Albuquerque. He was a professional musician who worked with many bands over the course of his career, which for him started at the age of 13. He was an enthusiastic boxing coach for his sons and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys football fan. Other hobbies included, working on his Low Rider truck, and riding his Harley motorcycle, playing music with his father and uncle, and spending time with his children, grandchildren, friends and all family.
Anthony is preceded in death by sister Angel Abeyta, mother Gaylene Garcia, paternal great-grandfather Manuel Abeyta Sr, paternal grandparents Manuel and Dulcinea Abeyta, and maternal grandfather Conrad Rivas.
Anthony is survived by wife Lorie Quintana, children Mika Abeyta, Jesse(Angel)Vigil, Jonathan Abeyta, Joshua(Serenity)Maestas, Robert (Angelique)Gavaldon, Laura Quintana, Fantasia Manzanarez, and Brendon Stuart, sister Antoniette Abeyta, maternal grandmother Severa Garcia, father Anthony Abeyta Sr, grandchildren Feliciana Garcia, Myles, Myah, Mykenzie Vigil, Milly Maestas, Joel Sena, Celeste, Alex Jr, Sophia, Diana, Daenery Esquivel, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
