Tony was born June 13th, 1937, in Durango Colorado to the late Tom and Nita Archuleta.
He was the oldest of five children, Michael, Sandra, Gene and Anna. He graduated from Farmington High School, then graduated Finlay Engineering College in Kansas City Missouri. Tony married his love, Georgia Yvonne Duncan and they were married for 64 years before her passing.
Tony worked and retired from ARCO. In his spare time, he had ABC Concrete, Chaco Chemicals and many other endeavors including Fishing and Boating, which was probably his favorite. He enjoyed spending time at the Elks Lodge, telling stories and laughing with many friends. He was also known for his many BBQs that brought all of us together.
Tony and Georgia had three children, Kay, Mike and late Mark. Five grandchildren, Nicole, Allie, Cody, Maddie and Austin, along with four great grandchildren, Salem, Delilah, Orion and Preslie who loved how he always gave them candy even when mom and dad said No.
Tony was looked up to by many and was sought after for advice by many. His presence, humor and charm will be truly missed by us all.
A Memorial for Tony will be conducted Sunday, May 5th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Brewer Lee & Larkin, 103 E. Ute, Farmington NM.
A Celebration of Life will follow at Tony's home, 1502 Knudsen, Farmington NM. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Anthony, please visit our Tree Store.
