Anthony Bakutis Obituary

Anthony "Tony" C. Bakutis, 62, of Frankfort, passed away suddenly on June 15, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Lori Bakutis nee Mansell; daughters: Isabelle Bakutis, Gabrielle (Michael) Wallace, Brittany (Eric Krzeczowski) Bakutis, Nicole (Joshua) Pinski, grandchildren: Christopher, Olivia, Noah and Daniel "Choo Choo"; brothers: Walter (Evon) Weyer, Kenneth (Sandy) Weyer, David Weyer; sisters: Cindy (John) Chakonas, Christine (Gerry Lunsford) Bakutis, Dina (Frank) Mastalerz; sisters and brothers-in-law: Carolyn (Jose) Martinez and Shari (Roger) Manalo and mother and father-in-law Kathleen (Robert) Mansell. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Catherine Bakutis and sister, Sandy Bakutis. Tony was born in Chicago and lived with his wife Lori in Frankfort for 25 years where they raised their family. He was known as Tony the Tile guy. He truly loved his family and fishing. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m. where friends will be invited to share memories at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423.
