"Beloved brother & uncle"
Anthony M. Baldoni, 61, of Newington, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Hartford Hospital, with his family by his side.
Tony was born in Waterbury, CT, on June 20, 1963, a son of the late Jean (Taylor) Cross and Joseph B. Baldoni. He was a former member of the Waterbury Easter Seals. He enjoyed going to McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts. The Game Show Network was his favorite thing to watch.
Tony leaves his siblings, Linda Nielsen and her husband, William of Wolcott, CT, Gloria Stich of Bristol, CT, Thomas Baldoni of Oakville, CT, Dino Baldoni and his wife, Doreen of Watertown, CT and James Baldoni and his wife, America of San Antonio, TX. He also leaves his nieces, Stephanie Pedrotti, Victoria Baldoni-Helmar, Jacqueline Baldoni and Olivia Stich, and nephews, Eric Baldoni, Peter Nielsen, Nicholas Baldoni and John "JT" Barber. He was predeceased by his brother, George Baldoni.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Tony will be held on Friday evening, June 13, 2025, from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. His funeral service will follow the Wake at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial of his cremains will take place in Pines Bridge Cemetery in Beacon Falls.

It's with deep sorrow to hear of Tony's passing. He was a friendly young, old soul. Tony was a joy to talk with. Almost all of our conversations were mixed with laughter. However, I'm wondering if he had stock in McDonalds because he sure loved eating that food! To the Baldoni Family, like you, my heart aches knowing that Tony has died. I loved him like a brother. Much love coming to y'all from North Carolina.
