Anthony Barnes Obituary

Anthony enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He also enjoyed basketball, music and dancing. Anthony was best known for his infectious laugh and sense of humor and his compassion for helping others.
Anthony is survived by his Mothers Akela Alston and Monica Whitaker, Father Lloyd Barnes and Stepfather Daniel Charles, Sister and Caretaker Takiyah Garrett, Sisters and Brothers Nadirah Sanders, ShaRae Smith, Marques and Derrick Garrett, Joshua Ford, Shakur Whitaker, Jaquan Lance, Tyrese Charles and Shyreese Hardison, his two God Mothers Virginia Fox and Valerie Williams, his nieces and nephews Dalilah, Declan, Marques, India, Zaine and Heaven as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Grandmothers Mary Alston and Josephine Jenkins.
Anthony's memorial Service will be held at Forest North Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 4-8pm. If you would like to make a donation towards the memorial please contact the family.
