Anthony Biancardi Obituary
WATERBURY - It is with profound sadness that the family of Anthony "Tony" Biancardi, age 62, share the news of his peaceful passing on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the John Dempsey Hospital at UCONN after a brief illness. He was the husband of Lisa (Bassett) Biancardi.
Tony was born in Waterbury on February 5, 1962, in Waterbury, the son of the late Robert and Patricia Biancardi. Tony was educated in local schools and was a lifelong resident of Waterbury, moving to Southington just a few years ago. He was a retired conductor for Amtrak and owned and operated his Dad's business Biancardi's East Ender Cafe.
Besides his devoted wife, Lisa Tony leaves his son, Nicholas and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services for Mr Biancardi will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 12 noon at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, CT. Burial will be in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the Biancardi family on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at noon.
