Anthony John Bishop, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and raised in Natrona Heights, Tony lived a life defined by devotion to his family, a love for the outdoors, and a strong sense of purpose. He dedicated much of his career to Grant Industrial, where he served as a warehouse manager, inside sales representative, and trusted company troubleshooter. Known for his keen attention to detail and no-nonsense attitude, Tony brought organization and stability to everything he touched.
Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life-camping by the lake, casting a line into the water, and relaxing by a campfire with family, friends, and a cold beer in hand. He was most at peace in nature and found his greatest purpose in taking care of the people he loved. A devoted husband, proud father, and doting grandfather, Tony's greatest goal in life was to make his family happy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanne; his son Scott (Christie); granddaughters Marissa Hill (Rusty) and Alleah Worstell; grandson Jackson Hill; and his sisters Cathie Richard and Susan Sabotka. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher and his mother, Arlene.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tony's life on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Rd., Oakdale (724-693-2800).
Tony's presence, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
