Anthony Wayne Branam, age 80, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Aspire Senior Living Center in East Prairie.
Born October 30, 1942, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Louis Churchel Branam and Ruth Mae Schneider Branam, he had lived in East Prairie most of his life. Anthony had been employed in the logging business and as a custodian for many years. He loved working in flower gardens, decorating, and especially working with antiques and re-doing old houses.
In June 1964, he married Rosetta Aters, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are his sons, Anthony Quinn (Janie Scott) Branam of East Prairie and Morris Dewayne (Monica) Branam of Anniston; his daughter, Christina Nicole (Mark) Turner of East Prairie; his sister, Georgia Louise Furlow of Tamaroa, IL; his grandchildren, Anthony Quinn Branam, Jr., Branston Dewayne Branam, Quinton Cole (Chelsey) Branam, Haley Nicole (Ryan) Brown, Larry Tyler (Carli) Branam, Madelyn Logan Branam, Levi Colby Branam, Leven Cade Turner and Luke Jaxon Turner; 13 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Glen E., Louis Hardin, James Joseph, Robert L., Mabel Pauline, Loraine, Violet Marie, Barbara Delois and Francine.
Friends may assemble for graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023, at the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Martin Lucas will officiate.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
