Anthony "Tony" Brongo

With heavy hearts and gratitude for a life well lived we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and friend Anthony (Tony) Brongo.

Born in Buffalo, NY on January 2, 1947, to Carmella (nee Fontana) and Frank Brongo, Tony grew up in Rochester, NY working with his father on his family dairy farm before he enlisted in the Army. Afterwards, Tony attended St. John Fisher college in Rochester and eventually went on to have a successful career in the Wine and Spirit industry.

It is his career that brought him the love of his life, Gail and his two adoring stepdaughters and grandchildren. They had the pleasure of spending twenty amazing years together where they made many memories pursuing their mutual passions for travel, golf, fine food and wine and cheering on their beloved hometown sports teams, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Over the years they also cultivated many lifelong friendships both on and off the golf course.

Tony is survived by his loving wife Gail (nee Kozlowski), his sister Judith Hansen, daughters Jennifer (RJ) Hooker, Staci (Wade) Gross, and grandchildren Abigail, Rylee (Jake), Alina, Autumn, Lexi, Paige and Ethan as well as many extended family members.
