Robert Gyurkovics

Robert "Boogie" Gyurkovics, Sr., 65, of South Daytona, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026.

Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, Robert built a life centered around what mattered most to him-family, friends, and making the most out of every moment. He was known for his lively spirit and his love of a good time. Whether it was gathering with loved ones, watching NASCAR, or tinkering on cars, Boogie found joy in the simple things and shared that joy with everyone around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Gyurkovics; his daughter, Jamie Correia; his son, Robert Gyurkovics Jr.; his two sisters and two brothers; and his six grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his memory and the laughter he brought into their lives.

A service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32117. A visitation at the funeral home will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

A celebration of life will follow from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Beaver Bar in Ormond Beach, Florida, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor Boogie in the way he would have loved most-together.
