Anthony Paul Cabral, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at the age of 82, in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on August 26, 1943, in Providence, Rhode Island, he was known for his warm heart and the joy he brought to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Anthony was the cherished son of Anthony Cabral and Hilda (Fonseca) Silvia, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness through his family. He is survived by his son, Scott Cabral, and daughter-in-law, Denise Cabral, both of Coventry, Rhode Island. His family tree flourished with the love of his grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Cabral, and the joyful presence of his great-grandson, Jace Cabral.

His affection extended beyond traditional family bounds; Anthony was an uncle and a guiding figure to his nieces, Lori Medeiros, Lisa Vigeant, and Chrissy Rossi, who he treated like daughters. He also adored his great-nephew and nieces-Ashley Marie Debarros, Casondra Rooney, Amanda Marderosian, Justin Marderosian, Stephanie Vogel, and Allison Williams-who he embraced as if they were his own grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Mike Cabral, and Mike's three children- Mike, Tammy, and Lisa.

Anthony had an admirable career in the jewelry industry, where he built lifelong friendships and connections. Later, he co-owned The Kozy Kitchen in Barrington, Rhode Island, a venture that allowed him to engage with his community before moving to Florida and enjoying a well-deserved retirement.

An enthusiastic spirit, he touched the lives of many with his genuine nature. Anthony had a knack for befriending everyone he met and reveled in the joy of introducing his friends to one another. His interests were as diverse as his friendships; he found happiness in food, fishing, bowling, horseshoes, bocce, and billiards. Travel held a special place in his heart, with Aruba being his favorite destination, where he created some of his most cherished memories.

Anthony's life was a testament to the power of love, connection, and adventure. His laughter, stories, and kindness enriched the lives of all who knew him. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the wonderful moments shared, the lessons learned, and the love that will forever remain in our hearts.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11:00am at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Road, Cranston, RI. Burial will be private.
