Anthony "Tony" Cardillo passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on August 1, 1934, Tony lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Tony was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Clare and together they raised two daughters Claudine and Andria and doted on his granddaughter Axelle. His warmth and humor shaped his family's lives in countless ways.
Tony proudly served his country and went on to build a successful 35-year career in financial services, earning the respect of colleagues and clients alike for his integrity and professionalism.
Outside of work, Tony was a gifted and prolific painter. His art brought joy to everyone who experienced it, reflecting the vibrant spirit and creativity he carried throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering love for his family. Tony's legacy lives on through the people he loved, the art he created, and the countless lives he touched with his generosity and joy.
Tony's life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends Tuesday November 4th from 3-7pm. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday November 6th at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may contribute to St Jude Children's Research Hospital
