Anthony Cella Obituary
Born in Orange, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Seaside Park.
Anthony was owner of European Studios in Seaside Park, NJ for many years and was co-owner of Cella Ships Bar.
He was a parishioner of St Catharine of Siena RC Church of the St. Junipero Serra Parish, Seaside Park, NJ.
Anthony was a graduate of Central Regional class of 1980 and known by his football nick name the "cell block". Anthony loved riding his custom painted Harley Davidson fat boy and watching his beloved Minnesota Vikings. He was an avid wood craftsman and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Ortley Beach, NJ.
He was predeceased by his father, Joseph L. Cella.
Anthony is survived by his daughter Rosemarie Cella of Brick, NJ, his mother Rosemarie Cella ( D'Onofrio), two brothers Lawrence "The Cowboy" Cella and his wife Sherry of Jackson, NJ, Joseph "Jody" Cella of Seaside Park, NJ, and his two nephews Joseph Cella and Lawrence JR, and his great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 18, 2023 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Ave., Seaside Park, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, September 19, 2023 10:00am at St Catharine of Siena RC Church of the St. Junipero Serra Parish, Seaside Park, NJ. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
