Anthony J. Cipriano

Anthony J. Cipriano, 82, of Lansdale, formerly of Sellersville, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Rita Cipriano.

Born in Norristown, Anthony was the son of the late Anthony and Sadie Cipriano. He was a graduate of Kutztown University and went on to earn his master's degree from Syracuse University.

Anthony dedicated his career to education, teaching for 43 years at Souderton Area High School, where he also served as the football coach for over 55 years. He also taught at Montgomery County Community College.

Anthony was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Snake Hill Hunting Club, Souderton Harleysville Game Fish, Forestry Association, and Great Swamp Fish and Game.

In addition to his wife, Rita, Anthony is survived by his sons, Peter Cipriano and his wife Allison, and Matt Cipriano and his wife Emily; his four cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Connor, Riley, and Anthony; and his brothers, Jim Cipriano and his wife Rosemary, and Greg Cipriano.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA 18969, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM.
