Anthony Corsaro Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Memorial Funeral Home - Fanwood on Mar. 15, 2026.
Anthony Corsaro, 94, passed away at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ on Friday, March 13th, 2026. He was born in the Bronx, NY on October 19th, 1931. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family: Father Joseph, Mother Antoinette, Sister Maria (who tragically passed before Anthony was born), and older brother Frank who was a world renown Opera Director.

Anthony is a United States Marine Veteran who served during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He was a field radio operator. He was then transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve where he served until 1960. After returning home he had a long distinguished career with Ketchum Distributors followed by the McKesson Corporation as a Wholesale buyer. Anthony enjoyed his work and the people he was around. He was a dedicated employee, and an ebullient source to everyone he encountered.

Anthony married Norma Colella on October 15th, 1960. They moved to Bensonhurst, Brooklyn upon the passing of his mother Antoinette. Together they had four sons. In his free time, Anthony loved his sports. Always watching his beloved New York Yankees and New York Giants. He was an avid reader of novels and cherished his daily newspaper. He loved his music and often listened to opera and oldtime classics from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. He was always the life of the party, constantly singing and dancing. Anthony never judged and was always there for support, he only had love in his heart. He was a true gentleman! As he got older his true passion was spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Norma (90), his four sons: Anthony (62) and his wife Mary, William (61) and his wife Fran, Victor (57) and his wife Roseanne, and Robert (56). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren: Samantha, Isabella, Alexa, Dante, Anthony, Christian, Sofia, Amanda, Daniel, and Alana, and two great grandchildren: Evelyn and Riley.

The visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 from 10am to 12pm with a service beginning at 12pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, NJ 07023. Interment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anthony's name to The Autism Community in Action.
