Anthony D'Annunzio Obituary
Anthony Nicholas D'Annunzio 1939-2025 passed away peacefully at his home in West Long Branch on Friday February 14th 2025.
Anthony was born in Orange NJ. He was a graduate from Rutgers University and then received his Masters at Steven's Institute. He had a very long successful career as the Director of software development at Concurrent Computers he then continued on to consult for many other large tech companies.
He was always a father first rarely missing a sporting event of his children. He made himself available to those that needed advice, soft comforting or a pat on the back. Anthony's moral compass always leads the way.
He spent a large amount of time as the Co-President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, where they did major good for local communities, whether it was finding housing, donating furniture, clothes or food. It is a tremendous organization that helped those in need.
Anthony would often get involved with pickup basketball games with his kids, nephews and their friends, showing the younger generation how to be outsmarted on the court. Anthony had many passions, love of exercise, running marathons and cycling. He traveled throughout the world with his wife Antoinette. He loved planning wonderful family vacations seeing many states throughout the country.
Anthony is predeceased by his son Michael D'Annunzio and is survived by his wife Antoinette D'Annunzio of 60 years, his children and spouses James and Teresa D'Annunzio, Elizabeth and Gerardo Voglino, his daughter-in-law Carol D'Annunzio, Mark and Marie D'Annunzio and his 18 grandchildren.

i remember years ago I sent a funny but sarcastic email to Uncle Tony. The email subject was about the following day, a Sunday. It said My Plans for Tomorrow. Those plans were to go to church, get home, watch football and then call Uncle Tony to console him over the Giants losing to the Packers. Well, the joke was on me! My Packers lost! Within minutes our phone rang, it was Uncle Tony and Aunt Antoinette calling to console me! LOL they were pretty funny about it too! All in good fun. Uncle Tony, I wish I could have spent more time with you but being so far away makes it difficult. I love you and look forward to seeing you in heaven one day, but not too soon. Love, Mary
