Anthony L. Davenport, 43, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, formerly of Peoria, Illinois and Rock Island, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at his home.

Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tanner Payton officiating. Cremation will take place after services at Trimble Crematory. Memorials may be made to the family.

Anthony Lamar Davenport was born April 14, 1982, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Sylvester Sr. and Thelma Lee (Barnett) Davenport.

Tony was well loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed listening to music and writing songs, going fishing, and recently started collecting tools. He loved his many dogs over the years. Above all else he cherished time spent with his children, his pride and joy.

Tony is survived by his children, Aaliyah Neff, Dontae Pate, Sye Barnett-Davenport, and Anthony Davenport, Jr.; step-children, Kiah, Aylah, Noah and Izaiah; brothers, Sylvester III, Timothy, and Christopher Davenport; sisters, Linda, Georgia, and Larosa Davenport; his girlfriend, Mirinda; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin daughters; and sisters, Katina and Evelena.
