He was the beloved husband of Jeannie (née Daniello), with whom he shared 63 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a strong and loving family. Anthony was a devoted father to Cynthia (John) Visconti, Jeanette (the late Michael) Mooney, and Anthony DeCicco Jr. He was the cherished Pop-Pop to John (Erica) Visconti, Christopher (Katie) Visconti, Brianna Mooney, Michael (Luiza) Mooney, and Brittany Visconti. He was also the adored great-grandfather of Isabela, Sofia, and Valentina. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law, Emma Daniello, as well as many devoted nieces, nephews and cousins.
A proud American, Anthony served the City of New York as a dedicated Sanitation worker, taking pride in his work and his role in the community. He was a man of strong values-hardworking, intelligent, and always ready with a quick joke, a warm smile and plenty of laughter. Anthony had a deep love of history and was always eager to learn, read, and reflect. He found peace and happiness in his garden, took pride in his plants, and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Shelby.
