James Gomez Obituary
Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, James of Everett, Washington; son, Edward (Christine) of Yonkers, NY; daughter, Beth Ann Cedrone (Mike) of Yonkers, NY; son, Robert (Alpha) of Florida; life partner, Terrie Murphy and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a longtime supporter of Empire Post V.F.W. 375 in Yonkers, where his many friends will miss him. Jim will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, who lived a long, happy life. "Go Giants."
For 32 years Jim was employed at Otis Elevation Co., later retiring from Westchester County.
The family would like to thank his nurses and friends, Carmel and Sorcha Monaham and Paul Van Tassell for their kindness and care during his final journey.
James will be interred next to his beloved wife, Elizabeth at St Joseph's Cemetery Yonkers, NY. A Memorial date & time will be announced at a later date. Please check back later for more details.
