Anthony John DiBenedetto

Anthony John DiBenedetto, 77, passed away peacefully on December 6th at his home in Live Oak, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 27, 1947, in Margaretville, NY, Anthony grew up on his family's dairy farm and graduated from Fleischmanns High School. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Education from SUNY Oneonta. Throughout his life, Anthony called New York, Texas, and California home before he and his wife, Linda, settled into retirement in northern Florida. They cherished their summers in the Catskills, spending time with family and enjoying the simple joys of being together. Anthony was a gentle and thoughtful man-sensible, kind, and generous. Family was at the center of his life, and his quiet strength and steady love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Linda; his father, Dante, of Fleischmanns, NY; his brothers Daniel (Cokie) of Chico, CA, Michael (Peggy), Kim (MaryAnn), Chris (Judy), and Robin (Julie); his sister Gina (Renard), all of the Fleischmanns, NY area; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
