Anthony "Antonis" Feidos

Anthony "Antonis" Feidos, a beloved husband, uncle, and devoted friend passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on August 10, 1938, in the beautiful region of Peloponnisos, Greece, Antonis lived a life marked by adventure, dedication to his new homeland, and a deep connection to his heritage.
Antonis proudly served in the Greek National Army during his early years, a testament to his enduring commitment and respect for national service. In 1970, seeking new opportunities, he embarked on a journey to North America, first arriving in Canada, then New York City, and later settling in Sarasota, Florida, by 1974. Sarasota became his new and permanent home and over many decades he built a life surrounded by family at what was affectionately known as "the farm."
He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Kalliope Feidos, who stood by his side through every chapter of his life. Together, they successfully navigated through the never-ending challenges they faced in their exciting new homeland with extreme pride and gratitude.
Antonis' legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will forever be a source of inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to share in his remarkable journey.
