Anthony (Ant) Fludd passed away June 2, 2023, in Arlington, Texas, surrounded by love.
There will be a Wake on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 9, 2023, Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Anthony was born on December 14, 1974, in the Bronx, New York. Saved at a young age, but re-engaged in his faith as a man, he relocated to Miami in his adult years to be near his daughters. Finally relocating to Arlington in 2019 to be near his brother. He was a Sr. Research Analyst for Assurant, achieving 10 years this month.
He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend who loved everybody. He was a good man, who valued God and his family. To know Anthony was to know the depth of his love and commitment to those who called him Dad. He was an exceptional gift giver, who was always intentional in his giving. He was also known for many “Anthonyism” and certainly had a way with words.
He became an avid motorcycle rider while in Texas, taking every opportunity given to ride. He was one of the founding members of the Christian Motorcycle club – Desert Eagles.
Anthony is preceded in death by his father William Floyd. He is survived by his wife Nachelle; children Ruelle, Caiyette (CC), Jaire and stepdaughter Genoa; his mother Valerie Floyd; older brother Richard (Tracie) and younger sister Chanda. 5 nephews & 1 neice - Michael (Selina), Richie (Brittany), William, Jaylen, Christian & Daizah. Additionally, to cherish his memory is his grandmother (Wilhelmina), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his Life Community Church family.
Anthony will be remembered for his infectious smile, love of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, his sneaker collection and riding his motorcycle.
