Anthony Ray Gibson

Anthony Gibson, 50, of Trimble, Tennessee died on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his residence.
Born Thursday, December 2, 1972, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Nickey Ray Gibson and the late Loretta Ann Moody Gibson. Mr. Gibson was employed as a weld out lead at Ermco in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He attended Holy Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral services for Mr. Gibson will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Don Smith. A private interment will be held at a later date. Visitation for Mr. Gibson will be held from 12:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Kelly Ann Shanklin Gibson of Trimble, Tennessee; one son, Andrew Brice Gibson (Jessica) of Martin, Tennessee; nephews, Jacob Hugueley, Gary Fowler, and Brad Butler; niece, Nikki Frank (Sean); great nephews, Brendon Hayes and Korbyn Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Sue Gibson and Sherry Lynn Butler.
Honoring Mr. Gibson as pallbearers will be Jon Binkley, Tim Camaso, Chris Sawyer, Johnny Hunt, David Bentoncourt, Wade Bell. Justin McCullough, T.J. Bass, Jay Bailey, and Chad Wherry.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Pilots for Patients, 3127 Mercedes Drive, Monroe, Louisiana 71201.
