Anthony Michael Gomez, of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on January 16, 2025. He was born October 31, 1994 in Hampton, Virginia, the son of Arturo Gomez III and Diana Ramos Gomez. Anthony was a passionate individual who was loyal, kind, and loved by all who knew him.
Anthony graduated H.M. King High School in 2013, then went on to UT Dallas, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as a Project Engineer for Insight Partners managing important documents for lucrative assignments.
Anthony loved to rock climb, hike, play games with his friends and family, and travel whenever the opportunity arose. Seeing his eyes alight with excitement whenever he spoke about his work/what games he was playing or the newest convention he attended will always be treasured memories to cherish.
Preceding Anthony in death are grandparents Maria Olga Gomez and Arturo Gomes Jr.
Remaining to cherish Anthony's memory are his grandparents Elodia H. Ramos and Roberto G. Ramos; parents, Diana and Arturo Gomez III; brother, Arturo (Javy) Gomez IV; sister Briana N. Harmon; brother-in-law, Jacob A. Harmon; and nephew, Bryan M. Harmon.
The family will receive condolences from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary; with a holy rosary to be recited at 11:00 a.m. A service in his honor will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on the same day.
His hard work, dedication, and love for his family will continue to resonate through the hearts of all who knew him, along with all the joy and warmth that he brought to their lives.
