Anthony Charles Goodwin of Lynn passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Revere on May 31, 1965, to the late Henry Goodwin and Antoinette Bernadette (Carrabes). He was the beloved husband of 13 years to Lisa (Dowse). Adored father of Dakota Dowse. Dear brother of Douglas Goodwin and his wife Kim of FL. Cherished uncle of Lenore Goodwin and her husband Peter Schastny, and Stevie Marie Smith and her husband Alex. Caring great uncle to Kyle Willis. He had a dry wit that always kept those around him on their toes, and a fondness for a good beer that brought a unique warmth to his gatherings.
Anthony's life was marked by service, both to his country and to his loved ones. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during Desert Storm, earning the Bronze Star for his bravery and dedication. After his time in the military, he continued to serve his community as a Police Officer in Revere and then in Sudbury. He then became a software engineer in the IT industry. His work ethic and dedication were unmatched, and his impact on the industry was significant. But Anthony's service didn't stop at work. He was also a loving devoted husband to his wife, Lisa Goodwin, and a pillar of strength and support for his family and friends.
Anthony was a lover of nature. He found peace and contentment in the great outdoors, by hiking and camping. He was a man who knew how to appreciate the simple things in life, from the beauty of a sunset to the warmth of a campfire.
Anthony Goodwin's life was a testament to the power of laughter, service, and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. We encourage those who knew Anthony to share their memories and photos on his memorial page at www.buonfiglio.com.
