Anthony "Tony" Gordon

Anthony “Tony” Thomas Gordon, 63, passed away on May 25, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Anthony was born on May 26, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan to Major Thomas and Jeanette (Gordon) Gordon. On May 22, 1993, he married Pamela Gordon, who survives in Lima.

Anthony was a die-hard Michigan fan, he loved dominos, and fishing and named himself the “Pit Master”. Anthony was a forklift driver until his health issues arose. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family.

He is survived by his children, Demetrius Gordon, Darius Gordon, Stacey Dixon, Tameka Dixon, Andre White, and Robert Reynolds; siblings, Shirley Watson of Southfield, MI, Philomena (Maurice) Turner of Detroit, MI, Patricia Gordon of W. Hollywood, CA, Natalie Gordon of Florence, AL, Shirley White of Middleton, OH, Nora Jackson of Lima, and Brenda Petaway of Lima; in-laws, Tina (Earnest) Townsend and Oscar (Marsha) Dixon; aunts, Laurine Gordon, and Burt Amerson; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Anthony Brown; brother, Charles Gordon; sister, Theresa Thurman; favorite cousin, Maurie Bendross; mother-in-love, Mary Dixon; and sister-in-love, Tavonna Pritchett.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Pastor Bruce Monford. Burial will follow at a later date.

The family requests visitors wear Michigan Football gear.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to family for funeral expenses.
