Michael A. Gaddy, 68, of Lima, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born on March 7, 1957 in Lima to the late Albert Lee “Sugar Lee” and Ada Ruth {Carter} Gaddy. Both of whom preceded him in death.
Michael didn’t have any children, but he poured his love into his nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He adored his entire family and was always there to support them. His laughter and warmth filled every room, and he loved nothing more than playing tonk, dominos, and sharing playful banter with his friends. Michael’s kindness and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his brothers: Rick Carter and Gregory (Dawn) Gaddy Sr., sister: Francoise (Doug) Johnson, niece and nephews: Ada Denise, Greg Jr., and Anthony Donte’ Gaddy, and longtime significant other: Melody Wright.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Ursula Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or the funeral home for funeral expenses.
