Anthony Groch Obituary
Anthony had a passion for athletics. He was awarded Philadelphia All-City while playing football at Northeast High School and played football for Temple University. He graduated from Temple University with a Masters Degree in Education and spent his career as a physical education teacher at Stetson Middle School and Mastbaum High School. Anthony coached many sports teams over the years, and loved soccer the best!
Anthony was the beloved husband of 58 years to Margaret "Maggie" (nee Ford) and loving father of Karen Groch-Dunn (John), Anthony Groch (Anne) and Jennifer Groch (Todd). He was the dear brother of Lorraine Wallowicz (John) and John Groch; and cherished grandfather of Erik, Sean, Jamie, Brianna, Katie, Jennifer and Robert.
Anthony was predeceased by a brother Andrew Groch (Kass)
A Memorial Service will be held at later date, please check back for updates.
Memorial contributions in Anthony's memory may be made to the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
