Anthony F. Guida

Anthony Guida, 91, of Saddle Brook, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, peacefully in his home.

Anthony was the cherished husband of the late Joyce Guida (nee Trenz). Loving father to daughter, Donna (Arthur) Magrini, son, Russell Guida, daughter, Robin (Monte) Berzon, son, Richard (Tia-Marie) Guida. Beloved grandfather to Alec (Shivani), Nicholas(Amanda), Danielle, Jason, Jake , Michelle(Mike), Nicolle(Tim), Steven and great-granddaughter, Cela.

Anthony (Sonny) grew up in West New York, NJ. He served in the Army for 4 years. He was an accomplished accordionist and was featured on the Ted Mack Radio Program. He married his childhood sweetheart in 1957 and later moved to Saddle Brook where they raised their 4 children. Before retiring, Anthony worked for Swift Typographers as a Type Setter.

Anthony enjoyed watching sports, listening to jazz, spending vacations at the beach with his family and going clamming at LBI with his friends. He loved the Yankees, the Baltimore Colts and Johnny Unitas. He was a dedicated fan to all of his grandchildren's games and events. His greatest joy was spending time with his family in his backyard at his pool, cocktail in hand, manning the grill. He was a devoted husband, and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m on Monday Ferbruary 2, 2026 at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
