Anthony Halcomb Obituary
Anthony Wayne Halcomb, 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Cumming, GA. Graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens in Powder Springs, Georgia with burial to follow.
Wayne was a lifelong resident of Cobb County spending most of his life in Mableton and Kennesaw Georgia before moving to Cumming Georgia 27 years ago. Wayne was a Veteran Staff Sergeant with the Georgia Air National Guard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Powder Springs, a Mason with Latham Lodge #12 in Austell since 1980 and was involved with Surveying and Mapping Society of Georgia.
Survivors include: wife of 29 years, Teresa A. Halcomb of Cumming, GA; son, Brent (Kelly) Halcomb of Suwanee, GA; six grandchildren, Emerson Halcomb, Samford Halcomb, Callaway Halcomb, Banks Halcomb, Mills Halcomb and Powell Halcomb; sister, Connie (Jeff) Kappler; and several neices, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
