Mr. Anthony "Tony" Sterling Knight, age 70 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1955 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late William F. and Ruth Roberson Knight. Mr. Knight is survived by his son, Sterling Knight (Jodi); sister, Anne Clay (Stephan); grandson, Cody Knight; nieces and nephew, Alissa Blevins (Daniel), Amanda Neal and Allan Clay (Heather); as well as great-nieces and nephews, William, Curt, Finley, Huckson, Rebeka (Austin), Jessica (Brooks) and Lucas. Mr. Knight is preceded in death by his parents; and loving wife Deborah "Debi" Cole Knight. A private interment will be held for Mr. Knight and his family in the family lot of Northview cemetery. The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and memorial donations be made in his memory to either: The First Baptist Church Memorial Fund at 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, Ga 30125 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family of Mr. Knight will receive family and friends on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:30 in the morning until 1:30 in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.
