Anthony(Tony) Thomas Krasnick, Jr., 86, of Exton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Rose T (Gaeta) Krasnick, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in the Williamburgh Neighborhood of
Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Peter Krasnick and Beatrice (Sutkus) Krasnick.
He attended Grover Cleveland High School in Brooklyn where he graduated Class President in 1956 and enjoyed participating in swimming but excelled in basketball. Because of his basketball abilities he was granted a scholarship to St Francis College (NY) and continued playing while pursuing and receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree upon graduation in 1961.
Tony proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas during the Vietnam era from 1961-1965. While stationed at Brooks he served in the Aerospace School of Medicine, working on projects such as the development of dental equipment packaging for space flight.
Tony spent most of his career alongside his wife Rose as owners / operators at Life Sciences Technologies inc., a Durable Medical Equipment Company located in West Chester PA.
Tony could often be found at the beach surf fishing and boating but also enjoyed swimming and reading. He shared his love and passion for music with his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite rock n roll greats were the Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley.
In addition to his wife, Tony is survived by three children, Anthony Bryon Krasnick, Christine Rose Harding (Edward) and Richard T. Krasnick (Michele) and by two grandchildren, Justin Krasnick and Elise Harding.
Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m on Monday Jan 12, 2026 at St Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue Downingtown followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m
Interment will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Those guest who plan to attend are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 10:15 a.m. at the Administration Building. Please follow signs for "funeral processions" which will lead you around the back side of the Administration Building.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the
American Heart Association.
