Anthony F. LaGreca

Anthony "Tony" LaGreca, 78, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011. He was the son of John and Irene (Mascola) LaGreca, born on November 8, 1932 in Manhattan, NY. Tony was raised in Manhattan and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was the owner/operator of Tony's Tack Shop at Monticello Raceway in NY and was a horse trainer/rider. Tony enjoyed going to casinos and playing Texas holdem poker. Tony will be greatly missed by his wife of 39 years, Gloria; daughters, Gina LaGreca and Jeannette LaGreca; sons, Tony (Mary) LaGreca, Jr. And Paul (Alyssa) LaGreca; brother, John LaGreca; grandchildren, Alexis, Alexandra, Madison, Jordyn, Christopher and Jessica; great-granddaughter, Malia. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bridgette Burti, Anna Marchiano and Rose Acierno. A memorial service to celebrate Tony's life will be at 11:00 am, November 11, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
