Anthony Lawson Obituary
Anthony was saved at Sulphur Springs Church in 1983. He was a member of Stone Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, restoring old cars, and being around his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge Mack and Reva Patsy Lawson both of Rogersville.
Anthony leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Kathy Lawson of Rogersville; son, Tony Mack Lawson; daughter, Lesley (Jesse) Cline of Bean Station; grandkids, Seth Lawson, Braiden Lawson, Gracie Cline, Preston Lawson, Valerie Woods, Creedance Barker; brother, Eldridge "El" Lawson; sisters, Shelia Mae (Jerry) Teal, Jean Lawson (Ken Seigler), Tracey (Frankie) Chesser; and many more special loved ones.
The family of Anthony wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Stephanie Cooper and The Cancer Center in Greeneville for all the care they have shown.
Visitation hours will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Larry Helton officiating.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Trent Family Cemetery. Anyone who wishes to follow in the funeral procession is asked to meet at Christian-Sells by 10:00 am Wednesday.
