In 1949, Tony joined the National Guard reserves and served throughout the 1950s. He became a successful farmer growing/harvesting, tomatoes, sugar beets, and garlic. Along with small crops of walnuts and apricots.
Tony was a hard-working, honest man who took pride in helping out others. For many years he was a member of the San Benito County Search and Rescue team. One of his many passions included rescuing and training wild mustangs from the Sierra Nevada.
As a cattleman, he looked forward to his annual branding, along with hosting weekly cattle roping competitions. As a water skier, Tony also looked forward to his annual Father's Day trips to Don Pedro Lake.
Other favorite past times Tony enjoyed were snow skiing, golfing, riding his Harley, and playing a few hands of Poker or Pedro.
As his family, we would like to express our utmost gratitude to his caregivers, Kelly, Christina, Delilah, Lucia, Rosalie, Elvia, and Rena for their dedication and excellent care.
Celebration of life will be held on November 16, 2025 at The Barn in Tres Piños, California from 12:00 to 4 p.m. where all are welcomed.
