Anthony Lewis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by George Lopes Funeral Home - Mattapan on Jan. 7, 2026.
Anthony David Lewis was born October 3, 1984, in Boston, Massachusetts, the loving tender hand of God led him into eternal rest on January 4, 2026.

Anthony was the beloved only child of Leslie Lewis, and was predeceased by his father, Dennis Pritchard.

Anthony was educated in the Boston Public Schools and later earned his GED at Orville Platt High School while living in Meridan, Connecticut. He held several positions throughout his life, and his longest tenure was as an Animal Technician at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Anthony was kind, compassionate, and generous. He loved his family deeply and took joy in simple, meaningful moments with them. Cooking was one of his great pleasures-he became especially known for his skill at the grill. His roast beef was a family favorite, and he would smile slyly when relatives playfully pleaded for him to bring it to holiday gatherings.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Leslie, his children Annalese and Jaden and a host of family members and friends.

Anthony's warmth, generosity, and quiet humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who cherished him.
