Anthony Joseph LoMonaco, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, in
Naples, Florida, at the age of 92. He was born on June 13, 1933, in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He and his wife retired to Naples 17 years ago, and lived and enjoyed a full life here. Anthony lived a life defined by love, sociability and deep devotion to family.
On October 26, 1957, Anthony married the love of his life, Theresa (Messina) LoMonaco, and together they built a marriage rooted in love, partnership, and unwavering devotion. He was a proud and devoted father to his daughters, Maria (Patrick) Ferrer and Lucia LoMonaco, and a cherished grandfather to Kyle and Isabella Ferrer, who brought him endless joy. Few things made him happier than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A talented interior designer and business owner, Anthony had a remarkable eye for beauty and detail. Through his work, he transformed houses into welcoming homes, always believing that thoughtful spaces could bring comfort and happiness to everyday life. Beyond his profession, Anthony embraced life's simple pleasures-tennis, bocce, the beach, good food, travel, and time spent with those he loved. He was passionate about gathering friends, and particularly organizing his " Pasta Nights". He played tennis most of his life, and at 80 after having shoulder surgery was told he could not play any longer, so he decided to learn to play left handed! And he did! His easy smile, gentle kindness, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel at home in his presence.
Anthony will be remembered as loving, kind, and passionate-qualities that defined how he lived and how he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, and his two brothers. A member of the Knights of Columbus, Anthony valued service, fellowship, and giving of himself to anyone he knew.
His legacy lives on in his family, the beauty he created, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Naples Alzheimer's Support Network in his memory.
