Anthony Blake Maxwell, 42, of Town Creek, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025. A celebration of life service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Shoals SDA Church in Florence with Pastor Stanley Luntungan officiating.
Born on October 14, 1982 to Ronald Todd Maxwell and Pebble Oliver Simmons, Anthony loved riding his motorcycle and working as a welder for BMSI. He enjoyed spending time with his biking brothers. Anthony will be remembered for his talent as a football player for Hazlewood High School which led to a State Championship in 2000.
Survivors include his children, Ashton B. Maxwell, Sway A. Maxwell; father, Ronald Todd Maxwell; mother Pebble (Ronnie) Simmons; grandfather, Ron Brown (Judy Evans) Maxwell; uncle Scott Maxwell; and several aunts and uncles, and extended family.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judy Love Maxwell; Dewey E. and Bessie Oliver.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Allen, Cecil Lancaster, Tommy White, Ron King, Byron "Pops", Taboo, and Opie.
