Anthony John Moloski

Dear readers, we gather here today not to mourn the passing of Tony Moloski aka “Duke” but to celebrate the colorful life he lived. Duke, as he was fondly known, has left us with a collection of endless jokes and cherished memories.

Despite ditching high school early to join the Army Air Core, as it was know back then before it became the US Air Force, Tony’s education in humor and wit was top-notch. After his military service in the Army Air Core, he worked in machine shops at Lockheed, Technicolor, and Disney Studios where he was Shop Foreman involved in building all kinds of props and movie gadgets.  He often brought home things to entertain the kids and also scare the kids at Halloween parties.  He was always the life of the party. 

His colleagues viewed him as someone who turned every workplace into a stage for his jokes and stories - even if they were on repeat! Who knew one could make "dad jokes" a form of art?

In his free time, Duke indulged in creating memories at his ranch in Lockwood Valley.  He named it "My Ranch" because he said everyone who comes can tell their friends later "I was just at my ranch".  This became his legacy where everyone was welcome to enjoy some good old-fashioned fun - a true testament to his generous spirit.

Duke's proudest accomplishments was his marriage to his beautiful bride Ramona who he will say was his better half, and he wasn’t lying! They wed in 1960 and together they had 4 daughters, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  He leaves behind his daughters, Desirae, Cindy, Candi, and Krystal who will forever remember their father's hilarious antics and warm heart.

On June 17, 2024, Duke passed peacefully with his daughters by his side in California. Although his wife Ramona passed in 2021 he was never the same without her. They are reunited once again. Their love story endures. While we bid farewell to Duke, let us remember him for the laughter he brought into our lives!

A graveside service will be held on July 1, 2024, at 10:00am at Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth.  Let's come together to honor Duke's memory with smiles on our faces and jokes in our hearts. After all, that's how he would have wanted it!

Rest in peace, Duke. Your one-liners and puns will echo through eternity while you make the angels chuckle.
