It is with profound sadness, yet unwavering hope, that we announce the passing of Anthony James Morin, who died peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 59 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born on July 24, 1965, in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the son of Fredrick Morin and Theresa Morin. He dedicated over 30 years of his life to heating and air conditioning along with a broad range of expertise in appliance and electrical maintenance and repairs.
He was a devoted husband to Esperanza Morin for 31 years, and a loving father to daughters: Ruth Sabrina Smith and her husband Joshua Smith, Sarah Jane Morin and her husband Luke McAnulty, and his son, Mark Morin. He was also a cherished grandfather to Olivia Elise Smith, Chandler James McAnulty, and Miranda Grace Smith. He is survived by his wife Esperanza, and his children: Sabrina, Sarah, and Mark. He is preceded in death by his father Fredrick Morin, and his mother, Theresa Morin.
He had a passion for furthering the kingdom of God and enjoyed spending time talking about the gift of Jesus. He will be remembered for being there for others without hesitation during their time of need, and for serving people with a love that reflected the love of Christ.
A funeral service will be held on 4:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Gilead Baptist Church, Dr. R.C. Smelcer and Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, (at Maryville Baptist Tabernacle) 1585 Mt Tabor Rd, Maryville, TN 37801. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at Gilead Baptist Church, 2504 Shipe Rd, Knoxville, TN 37924.
