Dorthy Sue Albright died peacefully on September 11, 2025 in Knoxville Tennessee. She was proceeded in death by mother Mildred Wonell Hicks, father Charles James Hicks, husband James E Albright, brother James H Hicks, and Sister Mildred Jean Monday.

Dorthy is survived by son Wayne (Maureen) Albright, daughter Saprina (Richard) Potter and grandchildren James Albright, Mary Albright, and James Potter. She is also survived by sisters Mary Ann Murphy and Edna Aline Gribble, and brother Charles T Hicks. Special friends Kenneth McCammon and Suzy Headrick.

Dorothy has gone home to be with the Lord. Her strength and caring nature will be missed by all.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Miller Funeral Home, Pastor Grover Bolden officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
