Early Life and Family
On Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, Anthony Frank Mueller, loving husband, father, and brother, passed away in the hospital due to heart failure. Anthony, known to many as Tony, was 93 years old. He was born on February 4th, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Anton and Barbara Mueller, where he also grew up.
He is survived by his children, Michele (Brad), Devin (Laura), Matthew (Katie), and Aimee (Joseph), as well as his grandchildren, Brandon, Katia (Danny), Remi, Rylan, Reiden, Aiden, Locke, Ashlyn, Rinoa, and Anton. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara and Marolyn.
Marriage and Career
Tony met his wife, Mary Emma Summers Mueller, where they both worked at ITW in 1969. They were married for 52 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, who passed away in 2022.Tony and Mary moved to Volo in 1969. He worked as a tool designer at ITW for many years. He was a parishioner at Saint Peters in Volo for many years until more recently he was a parishioner at The Church of Holy Apostles.
Passions and Hobbies
Tony was known for his dedication to his family, his love of the outdoors, and his insatiable curiosity. He was an avid fisherman and hunter for most of his life. After returning home from work, he found great joy in tending to the sprawling garden in his backyard in Volo. He was a quiet, steady presence, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Tony was a voracious reader, constantly seeking to advance his knowledge of all things. Even in his later years, he remained a relentless learner, attempting to be a pianist at the age of 90. He was committed to a healthy lifestyle and exercised often.

Tony's life is a testament to the values of hard work, curiosity, and dedication to family. His legacy lives on through his
children, grandchildren, and the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, his love of learning, and his unwavering commitment to those he loved. Rest in peace, Tony. Your memory will forever be cherished.
