Anthony Philip Neumann

Anthony Philip Neumann, 99, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Envive Healthcare. He was born April 21, 1926 in Ridgway, IL to the late Martha (Zirkelbach) and George C. Neumann.
Tony was a veteran of the US Airforce and served as an air traffic controller during WWII. He was an industrial engineer for Escalade Sports for many years before retiring. Tony was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic minister. He was also a member of Christ the King Men's Club and Knights of Columbus. Tony was a member of Eagles, Owls, AWIE, Kingsman and enjoyed being a Friday Night Dance instructor. He was grateful for traveling on one of the first Honor Flights out of Evansville and treasured the friendships and memories made on the trip. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Tony cherished time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Tim) Seiler of Indianapolis; grandson, Mark (Lisa Bates) Seiler; and great-granddaughters, Elsie and Adelyn Seiler.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years in 2014, Dorothy "Dot" (Hedinger) Neumann; and granddaughter, Emily Seiler.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Annunciation Parish-Christ the King Campus, 3010 E. Chandler Ave., Evansville. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Father Benny Chacko officiating.
Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
