Anthony Ortiz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brookehill Funeral Home on Jan. 22, 2025.
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Anthony Marcus Ortiz on January 15th 2025, in San Antonio. He is survived by his mother Debra Galvan, his father Richard Ortiz, his brothers-Richard Ortiz (Dallas) and Joseph, his sisters- Serina Ortiz, Teena Ortiz, Marisol Ng and Dezirae Ortiz, his long time girlfriend Jolene Ortiz and his step children Amira and Audrina, his grandparents on both sides, his many nieces and nephews, and his aunts and uncles.
Anthony was a light whenever he walked into any room. He was always joking around and trying to make you laugh. In almost every picture of him he is being silly and making a face. Anthony loved to make people laugh. He had a love for animals since he was a little boy and had many fish and a dog. He loved basketball and the LA Lakers was his favorite NBA team. You could find him playing basketball at the park in his free time. Anthony was always helping his elderly grandparents and disabled aunt around the house and checking in on them. He was always the first one to jump up and help any of his family if he could. Anthony could always be counted on if you needed him. He was a big brother that was always worried about all of his siblings. His passing leaves us with a huge hole in our hearts.

I live next door to Anthony's grandparents. I will always remember Anthony's smile. He, his siblings, and my children would always play together outside when they were younger. He was always very kind and would always wave and say hello. Anthony was always helpful to his grandma and grandpa. Anthony will be missed. The family has our condolences. God Bless you from the Cruz family.

Anthony was always so polite and respectful that is one of the things that I remember most about him every time I'd see him no matter if he' was having a good day or a not so good one, he was always yes ma'am no ma'am, just so respectful and would always make me laugh about something he said. And so sweet taking care of his grandma. he will be missed terribly but remembered fondly.god bless you all
