Anthony "Tony" Palermo

Anthony "Tony" Palermo, 86, of Lansdale, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
Born January 10, 1938, he was a son to the late Joseph and Antonette (Pasquarello) Palermo.
He was a parishioner of Corpus Christ Church, Lansdale, and was honorably discharged after serving in the U.S. Navy.
Tony, a warm-hearted individual, found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Anthony, who loved to read, could often be found lost in the pages of a well-worn book. His love of reading allowed him to delve into countless books and examine worlds around him. His passion for reading was matched only by his love for classic films. He loved watching timeless movies that told the stories of love, adventure and mystery. He also had a fondness for travel. Exploring new places and discovering new and different ways of life fueled his desire for adventure.
As we remember Tony, we can celebrate the light he brought into our lives and will forever remain in our hearts. His memory will surely inspire acts of kindness and warmth to all who knew him.
Tony is survived by his brothers, Daniel J. Palermo, along with and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his long time companion, Charles Disiro and siblings, Geoge, Jimmy, Joseph, Angelo, Marie, and Jean.
Relatives and friends may call between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
