Anthony Leon Patrick

Anthony Leon Patrick, 73, of Clay City, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington. He was born October 5, 1952 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Lonnie and Ada Rogers Patrick. Leon was an avid rabbit hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed his Begel dogs. He was a long time employee of Kentucky pools. Leon enjoyed spending time with his family and his Sunday flea market trips. Survivors include, daughter, Emily Jones; sisters, Minnie Shoemaker, Mary Lou Burkhart, and Wilma Siler; grandson, Corey (Whitney Reed) Jones; great-granddaughter, Lydia Jones; the best former son-in-law, David Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Oveda Shoemaker, Jane Gray, Emma Phelps, Helen Deaton, Russell Patrick, Jesse Patrick, and John David Patrick. Services Saturday, February 7, 4:00PM Wells Funeral Home with visitation from 3-4pm at the funera home. Burial in Kennon Cemetery with David Jones, Corey Jones, Tommy Baber, Tim Huff, and David Patrick serving as pallbearers.
